| Women’s Care Center
Every day, thousands of women undergo abdominal surgery for common procedures like hysterectomies, ovarian cysts and fibroid tumors. What many don’t know are that advances in laparoscopic surgery now enable specialists to avoid open surgery in all but the most complex cases. This results in less blood loss, less pain and much shorter recovery time. Instead of a five to seven day hospital stay, for example, patients can go home the same or next day and may need only Ibuprofen or Tylenol for pain control.
The ability to educate women on innovative alternatives and minimally invasive techniques is the reason we opened our Women’s Services Center, and it’s not limited to gynecology. Women in need of general diagnostic or plastic and reconstructive surgeries will benefit from the same compassionate guidance on the latest procedures.
Below are some of the many conditions we treat and procedures we perform. Should you desire a consultation, we will work in concert with your physicians to develop an individualized treatment plan and help you decide which alternatives are right for your particular needs
